
Those were wild days for covering technology. You had to know how to talk to the machine, spreadsheets were new(ish), millionaire tech moguls were just getting a start. The parties were amazing. But my friends feared I was too nerdy to invite to parties.
Back then, I led a team of writers and editors to win some of the most prestigious journalism awards ever garnered by a trade magazine at the time, launched the @Home section of the magazine, uncovered scams in the computer industry, and worked as a consumer advocate.

It was a fascinating time to be covering tech. I covered the birth of, among many other things, the Internet.
